The Blaine County Public Works Department oversees a wide range of essential services:
Road Maintenance & Construction: We maintain and improve over 200 miles of county roads, ensuring they are safe, functional, and accessible year-round.
Snow Removal: During the winter months, we prioritize clearing major roads, ensuring residents can travel safely throughout the county.
Stormwater Management: We design and maintain stormwater systems to reduce flooding risks, improve water quality, and protect the local environment.
Wastewater Management: The department ensures that county wastewater systems are managed effectively, protecting public health and the environment.
Public Facility Maintenance: We oversee the maintenance and development of public buildings, parks, and recreational areas, ensuring these spaces are well-maintained and accessible to all.
Solid Waste & Recycling Services: We provide waste collection and recycling programs aimed at reducing landfill use and promoting environmental sustainability.
Capital Improvement Projects: The department plans and manages long-term infrastructure projects that enhance transportation, utilities, and public services across Blaine County.
